Bulk E-Mail Program
Quantec
Software offers a new bulk email program for businesses to advertise their
website via e-mail. Mass emailing has the advantages as being very cheap
for the advertiser, and an effective way to contact the customer.
The Software
The software is easy to use and does not require any user input. Just
click on the program icon, and the automated bulk emailer will begin sending
out mass email at a rate of 1 message per second on a regular cable
modem. This translates to 3600 messages sent every hour with 256 Kb
upstream.
Harvesting E-mails
Also bundled is a nifty utility for you to
'harvest' e-mails off of websites. Simply Select All (Ctrl-A) the content
of a page, Copy (Ctrl-C) it, and Paste (Ctrl-V) it into the harvesting
utility. Click the button and the program intelligently sifts out all the
e-mail addresses on the page and loads it to the program's database of
e-mails. Text labels at the bottom indicates how many e-mail addresses
have been added to your mailing list.
Opt Out Feature
Keeping in compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act (2004) passed by
United States Congress, we include an opt out feature in our mass mailing
system. Every e-mail sent contains a small link at the bottom allowing
users to 'opt-out' and remove themselves from the mailing list. You must
have access to a web server that processes ASP pages to correctly implement
this feature.

Update: MS Access based mass mailing program is now free for
you to download and use.
Free Version: The free version is identical to the one
bundled with our e-commerce package, except that it uses MS Access to store
e-mail addresses instead of SQL Server. MS Access cannot hold as much
data as SQL Server, but it can be run on any computer that has an internet
connection. Other than the physical limits of MS Access and your hard drive,
you can store and send as many e-mails as you like.

Loading your E-Mail Message to the XML file: Before
running the program, open the XML file with a simple text editor. This
file stores the e-mail message which the program will send, in addition to the
Smtp Server required to send the e-mail. For your convenience, a shortcut
to the XML file is provided at Start->Programs->Bulk E-Mailer->Edit
E-Mail Message.
Using the Program:
Harvest E-Mail: Gather e-mail addresses by
copying and pasting webpages & other sources of email to the large textbox
provided. Hit the "Harvest E-Mail Addresses From This Text" button to
automatically extract all the found e-mails to the database. The database
is intelligent, so duplicate e-mails will not be added.
Send E-Mail: Simply start the program, and it
will automatically connect to the internet and start sending bulk e-mails to
all the e-mail addresses in the database.
