E-Bay fee hike makes switch to
Quantec Software a 'no-brainer'
(For Immediate Release August 22, 2006): Online auction company E-Bay jacks
up the fees for its store online, making it harder than ever to just to stay
in business. CNN reports that some store owner's listing fees
have "increased by 500 percent". E-Bay also hiked it's final selling
commission to 10% of the winning bid. The huge royalty makes our
e-commerce solution a more attractive and profitable merchant venue.
With our shopping cart software, merchants pay a flat fee of $175, marginal
to most E-Bay sellers, and sell their products with no royalty.
Merchants own their own online store and keep 100% of the money they make.
For mid-sized to power-seller merchants, switching to Quantec Software's
shopping cart platform is a no-brainer. Power-seller merchants on
E-Bay have to pay over $175 in commissions in just a few days of
business. Quantec also attracts new and small businesses with its
zero-monthly-cost program, which shelters new businesses from crushing
overhead costs. Quantec Software feels confident that E-Bay's fee
hikes will fuel investment in shopping cart software such as those that we
offer.
