New
Software Enhancements Released
(For Immediate Release March 1,
2006): Today our technical staff has just released and
installed new system updates with new enhancements to the
e-commerce platform. We acted according to comments from
our customers who evaluated our new engine build last month.
As a result, we made some minor tweaks to the process of
inserting single products to a page. We are also giving
clients the option of customizing their shipping options.
They can now calculate their shipping rate by delivery method,
checkout cost, or a combination of both. A new feature
is the ability to adjust the size of the product thumbnails on
the fly by simply specifying the width of the picture.
Pictures are automatically smart-resized so that images
maintain their proportions. Clients can now cloak the
URL of their pages by using frames to avoid cluttered URLs.
As usual, all new enhancements are provided free of charge
to all new and existing customers. Quantec Software
always believes in being responsive to our clients, and
consistently provide them with the product enhancements they
